Panos Bethanis, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder

Panos Bethanis oversees partner relations, sales and corporate strategy for nSphere Inc. A veteran of e-commerce start-ups, Panos has served as President and Director of Marketing for a successful online publishing firm, Interaction Media Group and previously as CEO of an online art gallery gallerize.com, which revolutionized the way art was marketed over the web. He sits on the Board of numerous start-up companies and is an active member of New Life Foundation, a non-profit organization helping children of low income families get access to computers. Panos holds an MBA and a J.D. in corporate law from Boston University, as well as a B.A. in Economics from Brandeis University.

Jim Woodroffe, Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder

Jim Woodroffe is responsible for the architecture and development of nSphere's products and infrastructure. Jim began writing software at age 7 on a Commodore 64 and has since developed expertise in integrating software and hardware platforms into productive and scalable IT systems while minimizing capital investment costs. His experience includes rapid cycle IT project management and Web-based software development. Previously, he was the Project Manager and Software Developer with Circle Strategies where he built Web applications for clients such as Harvard University. Jim holds a B.A. in Physics from Oberlin College.

Imad Qawi, Chief Architect

Imad is the Chief Architect for nSphere. He has over 13 years of experience in design, development and management of software solutions for Fortune 1000 companies. He has extensive experience in development of software components and integration solutions with Microsoft .Net, J2EE technologies and variety of database platforms. Prior to nSphere, Imad was the Director of Engineering and Technology at Zooba (acquired by Bookspan) where he led product development for email services and database marketing product. Imad also spent 6 years at Cambridge Technology Partners, which was a pioneer in rapid application development methodology, in various technical development and management roles for clients in financial, manufacturing and chemical industries. In addition, he also spent time with Doreen Evans Associates as an Enterprise Architect, providing business analysis, modeling and architecture services for clients in the insurance industry. Imad has an MS in Electrical Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison and BS in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University.

Jean-Eric Penicaud, Chief Operating Officer

Jean-Eric (JE) supports the day-to-day execution of the business with a primary focus on nSphere's Partner Network. JE has spent the past 6 years building business community and advertising networks while developing innovative products and services to support them. Prior to catching the start-up bug, he spent several years as a management consultant for Andersen Consulting. JE is a graduate of Connecticut College where he earned an economics degree and met his wife Adriana.

Steve Burr, Chief Revenue Officer

Steve is responsible for all revenue generating activities for nSphere, including national advertising sales, affiliate optimization, ecommerce, and advertising systems. He also oversees the development and execution of new revenue streams and strategies. Over the past 5 years, Steve has run sales and renewals teams, led the accounts management department, and played a major role in shaping the partner management and integration departments. Steve is a graduate of the University of Vermont with BAs in Political Science and Psychology.

Chris Williams, VP of Partner Operations and Legal Affairs

Chris is responsible for the management of partner relationships and operations and for external communications with business and financial partners worldwide. He is also responsible for the day to day legal requirements of the Company and the legal aspects of special projects including joint ventures and financings. He comes to nSphere with over 10 years of experience at prominent law firms, where he has practiced corporate law, finance, real estate and litigation. Chris holds a B.A. in International Studies from Emory University and a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.

Michael Powers, VP of Strategic Development

Michael focuses his efforts on connecting local online buyers and sellers through strategic alliances with local media outlets. Over the past three years, Michael has also supported the company in the area of business development and account management of local online advertising campaigns. Michael majored in Marketing Management at Boston University.

Ruy Cuadra, VP of Operations

Ruy Cuadra leads the overall operations of the company. He brings 10 years of experience in online advertising focused in a number of roles including sales, customer care, finance and HR. His diverse experience and acumen enable him to manage the constantly changing personnel and business requirements presenting the company. Ruy holds a B.A. in Business Administration specializing in Advertising and Economics from the University of Florida.

William Pasos, VP of Strategic Partnerships

William is responsible for building strategic relationships and key partnerships with top interactive firms worldwide. He also designed and executed the distribution strategy for the organization, while managing relationships with its local media partners. Additionally, he manages the monetization across our network. Prior to this role, he managed the in-house sales program.
