nSphere Inc. bridges the gap between users and the information resources provided by local businesses, advertisers, publishers, and event organizers.

Founded in 1999 as rfpMarket, the company first developed and deployed private label e-marketplaces and business directories. Responding to customer demand, it re-launched in 2003 as DirectoryM with a focused business model and technology to connect service providers with local users actively seeking the solutions they supply.

The first partner to join the DirectoryM network was American City Business Journals (ACBJ). In 2008, DirectoryM partnered with John Wiley & Sons, Inc, publishers of Cliffnotes and the For Dummies series. This partnership has allowed the delivery of relevant information about specific topics and businesses directly toward engaged users.

DirectoryM re-launched in July 2010 as nSphere Inc. representing the company's expanded mission: combining media brands, data sources and local experts to satisfy the local online information needs of the average user and help organize their life locally.

With its headquarters located in downtown Boston, nSphere Inc. also has offices in China and Latin America, and continues to expand.
